Rising potholes in the city

It is really shameful that the work done by the Civil contractors in the city is of poor quality and as the rain continue for the fifth day potholes and craters are appearing on roads, subways and flyovers. This is a very bad reflection of the work done by the contractors being given the work despite their bad track record. Due to poor quality of materials used and inferior workmanship results into bad shape of the roads. The major flyovers, including the Sion Hospital flyover is giving way and the potholes pose a problem to the road users passing through that way. The job is half done and now the traffic police officers will have to bear the burnt and fill the potholes. It is indeed a sad state of affairs and the regular road user feel the pinch and gets involved in accidents trying to negotiate such danger spots in the side of the roads. Kudos for the police assistance for filling the potholes.
