Not sure if the ‘Rape’ remark was on purpose but popular actor Salman Khan has managed to cook another controversy on eve of the release of his film ‘Sultan’ to the delight of the makers of the film as this controversial remark should give a box office opening to the film which has an Eid release. Rape is a sensitive subject apart from being controversial and the actor uttering silly remarks on something which is very painful &and depressing for the victim going through such criminality truly was in bad taste apart from being unwarranted.
Salman Khan’s father Salim Khan and brother Sohail Khan did apologize on behalf of the actor but the damage had already been done when Salman Khan mentioned he felt like a ‘Raped victim’ after a wrestling shoot and celebrities once thought should restrain from such tasteless comments during media briefings as they are national icons and should behave like one.
The national media too should behave in a responsible manner by not giving undue coverage to such controversy which really affects none and ignoring it would mean less number of such remarks from celebrities in the future!
