Sanjay Dutt’s hardships finally comes to an end as the celebrated actor would be released from the Yerwada Central Jail on Thursday after completing his jail term of five years for possession of arms in the 1993 Mumbai bomb blast case to the joy of millions of his fan following. He deserves to be bestowed with the title of ‘Veer Purush’ ( Bravery) for showing integrity and acting as an obedient citizen by following the law of the country when he could have easily escaped punishment with his contacts and money. Sanjay’s father Sunil Dutt was one of India’s most respected parliamentarian and his sister too had done immense work for the nation as an MP. But they never interfered in the law of the country and the actor too could have fled the country to escape the punishment. But the true Gandhian which he also portrayed in the movie on Gandhiji chose to fight his own battle by respecting the law for which he deserves all kudos.
Sanjay Dutt got into bad company for his love for guns for which he had to pay a heavy price. He became a victim of drug addiction in his youth days but fought each of his personal battles to come out victorious. The 56 year old famed actor still has a lot many years to live and here is wishing him good health and prosperity in life. He is loved by all and my only advise to him would be to stay out of politics and do work for social causes and perhaps be an youth icon for young citizens to tell them not to emulate his mistakes but do great things for the nation. Such examples of bad life can also act as boon in disguise and the government should use his services to inspire the people of this great country!
