India’s ace shuttler Pusarla Venkata Sindhu defended her Macau Open Grand Prix Gold with an easy victory over unseeded Kim Hyo Min of South Korea in the final. Second-seeded Sindhu registered a 21-12, 21-17 against the world No.91 Kim Hyo Min. The defending champion had defeated Busanan Ongbumrungpan of Thailand 21-14, 21-15 in the semi-finals to extend her lead to 5-0 in head-to head encounters. Last year, top seed Sindhu beat world No.30 Li Michelle of Canada 21-15, 21-12 in only 37 minutes in the title clash. All along we heard Saina’s stupendous show in the court and now Sindhu also select band with her facile win. She came, saw and conquered the courts with her stylish serve, deft placements and the will to win big matches. She is really the shinning star in the Indian Badminton horizon. Kudo’s to Sindhu for the facile win.
