On Tuesday morning Telugu actor Ram Charan informed his fans that he has tested positive for coronavirus. The RRR movie actor took to twitter and wrote, “I have tested positive for COVID-19. No symptoms and quarantined and home. Hope to heal soon and come out stronger.”
Along with his statement, the actor wrote in his tweet: “Request all that have been around me in the past couple of days to get tested. More updates on my recovery soon.”

Similarly, in November the actor’s father and veteran actor Chiranjeevi tweeted that he had tested positive. However, he later explained that he was COVID-negative and that his initial test result was due to a “faulty PCR-kit.”
Reportedly, till December 22 Ram Charan was shooting for SS Rajamouli’s directorial RRR. The action drama film also featured Bollywood actor Alia Bhatt in the lead role. The actor was also spotted by the media on the same day (December 22) while promoting Sushmita Konidela’s web series Shootout at Alair.
