In Navi Mumbai NMMC headquarters is planned in a Parliament pattern and the house with a dome resembling the one adorning Rashtrapati Bhavan. The building has found an entry in the Limca Book of Records for having the tallest flag post at 225 feet in the year 2006. NMMC has obtained a special permission from the Union Ministry. Now Ranchi flag post may top the highest flag post and create many more records by the way. The amount of hard work put in by workers for forty days will set to get the World’s largest tricolour flying atop the country’s tallest flag pole at the Pahari temple at an estimated cost of Rs.1.25 crores.
