Indian supporters can try to defend Indian team from the debacle they suffered in Nagpur. But in reality our inefficiency to rise up to the occasion came to view and we failed like a pack of cards. The miserable loss in the T20 opener has been the continuation of the tradition witnessed by the Indian cricket over the years. Irrespective of the format of the game, it is observed that on a number of occasions, a task made easy by our bowlers was totally messed up by the batsmen; the Nagpur tie being no exception. The target of 127 runs was a pretty simple one for our powerful batting line up, but all of them collapsed like ninepins and that too against a spin attack, against which we are supposed to be the most comfortable with. It was indeed a pathetic loss.
