Uttar Pradesh is under turmoil ever since elections were announced in the biggest state of India. Winning this prestigious elections will be a boon for any of the political parties. Samajwadi Party had the maximum stake to return to power and rule for the second term in succession. But internal politics spoiled the hopes of the party and the power politics saw both father and son are in warpath and it is eyeball to eyeball in UP and the position is becoming bad to worse. In a recent move Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav sacked Shivpal and his father and supremo of SP expelled Ramgopal to return the brickbats to his son. The election scene is hotting up for the time being and steps are being initiated to bring the party back to its senses. It appears a futile exercise to bring normalcy within the party cadres and fight the elections as a unit. Under the present circumstances a split is on the cards and it will help both BSP and BJP to have a better outing this time in the elections.
