Violation of traffic norms

Over 70,000 residents of Bandra (West), who daily visit the Bazaar Road municipal market for buying groceries, meat, fish  and vegetables, are up in arms about auto rickshaws and two wheelers entering the one way road. People have complained about this to the Senior Inspector, Bandra Traffic department that young boys without driving licenses’ and helmets speed through the ‘no entry zone’, thereby causing injuries to local residents. But till date, no action has been taken. The residents have even forwarded their complaint to the Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic), but he too seems to have overlooked the problem. Through this newspaper, I therefore request the Joint Commissioner of Police, (Traffic) to please look into the matter before the residents end up taking the law into their own hands and staging a road block.
