Violation of traffic rules

There are three schools namely, Dr. S. Radhakrishnan School, J. B. Khot School and M. N. Bhatia School that are closely located to the Saileela Chowk junction in Borivali (W). Thousands of children attend these schools early morning at about 6.30 am and in the afternoon at 12.30 pm. Obviously, they also venture out of the school during their respective recess times for having some food or cheering up themselves. But unfortunately motorists and bus drivers drive their vehicles recklessly on this junction. As if they all are in a furious race to endanger the lives of schooling children as well as senior citizens and women. They always jump the signals because there is lack of speed breakers, zebra crossings and absence of traffic controller of police to monitor traffic. The officials could have atleast constructed speed breakers and zebra crossings on this killer junction to avert accidents.
