Maharashtra College of Arts, Science and Commerce felicitated one of the youngest fantasy fiction author Insiya Patanwala, at the college Auditorium on Wednesday where she interacted with the students and faculty members.
On the occasion, College Principal Sirajuddin Chougle, released the book – Field of Sales Management, written by Dr. Mohammed Moghees, Head of Department, Commerce, Maharashtra College, organised by The English Literary Association headed by Professors Ms. Shanti Polamuri, Mayurakshi Mitra and Rehana Vadgama respectively.
Interacting with the students and faculty members of the College, Ms. Insiya, revealed the secret behind her novel, which she started at a tender age of eleven and it took just two years to complete the 233 page book.
“The book reflects the main character Sophia to myself, as I was aloof from friends and was more into the fantasy land and I was hooked to J K Rowlings books and novels,” Insiya replied to a query raised by a girl student.
Principal Chougle said, “It’s an inspiration for the students as well as the faculty members to see a young author confidently handling questions raised by the lively audience at ease.”
