7 persons rescued after building collapsed in golakpuri, Delhi

A building collapsed in the Gokalpuri area in Delhi. Seven persons were rescued by police, Fire brigade and the teams of Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) on Friday, police said.

The building was already under renovation. The laborers were working on the roof of first flora when the building was collapsed.

After the incident, police reached at the location and carried out the rescue operation in the association with the Fire brigade and the teams of Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA).

Total of seven persons have been rescued so far, and shifted to Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital. Rescue operation is being carried out as two more people are expected to stuck in the debris, as per the police officials.
