‘Aapley Sarkar’ not people friendly

One month ago I had lodged my following complain (takraar) on the Maharashtra state government’s portal ‘Aapley Sarkar,’ our (state) government. After that I received two phone calls on my mobile saying, “The process is on.” But there is zero improvement in the status of pedestrians of our area till date. How can the website be so inactive and insensitive? Only God knows which ‘process is on.’ “Unfortunately, in our area of Sai Leela chowk junction in Borivali (W) all the vehicle drivers indiscriminately seem to have licence to jump the traffic signals and break the bones of the school children, senior citizens visiting the famous Sai Baba temple and two Jain temples in this area as well as the housewives buying vegetables and the other essential commodities. Such uncontrolled reckless and rash driving by drivers of the autos, trucks, tempos, BEST buses, tankers, taxis, high-speed, modern bikes and cars are also highly dangerous for the precious lives of the senior citizens, schooling children and women of this area.” The situation is such because there are no speed breakers as well as zebra crossings on this junction. Besides, the footpaths are encroached by the hawkers as well as the shopkeepers. Despite all such anti-pedestrians menaces there is no traffic controller police. We direly need their services at least for 16 hours i.e. from 6.30 am to 10.30 pm on war footing.
