An Ambush, an attack and heavy casualty

It is indeed a sorry state of affairs.  Instead of giving full protection to our security forces serving at the border, we prove to be a novice against the terror attacks and fall prey to ambush all the time. Terrorists take advantage of the weak strategy in protecting our border, we lose quite number of Jawans, highly ranked officers and CRPF men in the militant attack on regular basis. We could exert control in the border and the Indian Government ought to have taken cognizance of the attack and fight fire with fire instead of losing valuable life of our forces. The persistent attack in border areas in general and now in Pampore, in particular, revealed our real weakness. Losing 8 CRPF men in one stroke and over 16 injured in the melee shows where we lag behind. Instead of losing our forces we should have inflicted loss of the attackers so that they will not have guts to attack us time and again.  It is indeed a perennial problem and we should put an end to such ambush in border areas in broad daylight is a cause of worry.
