On March 12 in an interview aired on a news channel, the famous film actor Anupam Kher has made us understand the genuine meaning of the word ‘patriotism’ against pseudo secularism and pseudo intolerance. Unfortunately the electronic media is unable to recognize the difference between patriotism being shown by our brave security personnel on and off the national borders and pseudo patriotism being shown under the disguise of ‘secularism’ and ‘tolerance’ by so many ‘cheap, quick publicity seekers’ every now and then, since the past few months, which also include the award returners. Anupam Kher’s honest and fearless views about genuine patriotism have also been warmly welcomed by the smart young generation of India. By the way, when will the electronic media visit the parents of our brave martyr Jawans Pawan Kumar and Hanumanthappa and so many others like them?
