Sabir Khan will be replacing injured player Yatin Mangwani in India under-19 squad for the upcoming Asia Cup, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) confirmed on Friday.
“The All-India Junior Selection Committee has named Sabir Khan as Yatin Mangwani’s replacement in India’s U-19 squad for the upcoming ACC U-19 Asia Cup to be held in Dhaka from 29th September to 7th October 2018,” the board said in a statement.
Mangwani suffered a stress fracture in the recently concluded U-19 Quadrangular Series held in Lucknow and has been ruled out of the tournament.
The tournament will be held in Dhaka from September 29 to October 7 this year.
