Malware attack continues to corrupt the ATM software and has struck Banks, Government agencies across the globe into unending trouble and it is a bad news. Fortunately for India our computer systems largely escaped such an attack and our ATMs are safe from the WannaCry as of now. The compatibility of ATMs are caliberated to face any virus attack. ATMs are not redesigned to cover expected attack of Malware. Having anticipated the attack of Wannacry and make them safe most of the ATMs are provided with firewall security features to catch up resulting in rejecting such threats and the software is so designed to face any such attack. The other activities concerning ATMs are blacklisted preventing a ransomeware from attacking an ATM.
