Ecological imbalance responsible for rising heat

Massive heatwave across the country is on account of ecological imbalance caused by unplanned infrastructure and reckless cutting of trees, forests, weeds and green belt. Most cities have turned concrete jungles and very little farming is being undertaken in villages which truly is a matter of grave concern. Last two years have witnessed poor monsoon which may play spoil sport this year as well. It’s time for serious retrospect to save environment which is the main cause of global warming which had affected the entire globe in general and India in particular.

A failed monsoon this year would be a disaster for our country. The Modi government must take important emergency steps to save environment which has been neglected by successive government’s in the past. Smart cities are being planned but what good is this smartness when there would be no water to drink and fresh air to breathe. We must not be selfish and think of the future generation as well. People should sacrifice few luxuries if that improves quality of living. Pollution levels will go down if we share public transport instead of relying on cars. Infrastructure comforts and luxuries can be sacrificed if more trees can be planted for healthier living. Hope better sense prevail and we all collectively contribute our bit along with the government to save earth!
