'Fed Up with Ajit Pawar Again': BJP Leader Laxman Dhoble Eyes Return to Sharad Pawar's NCP 2

Maharashtra BJP leader Laxman Dhoble announced on Friday that he plans to rejoin the Sharad Pawar-led Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), citing discontent with the BJP’s alliance with Ajit Pawar. Dhoble, a former guardian minister of Solapur district, met with Sharad Pawar in Mumbai, signalling a possible political shift.

Dhoble revealed that his decision to leave the undivided NCP earlier was driven by frustration with Ajit Pawar. “After joining the BJP, I found myself in the same situation due to their alliance with Ajit Pawar. Hence, I’ve decided to return to Sharad Pawar’s faction. I will consult my supporters and finalize my decision in the next two days,” Dhoble stated.

When asked if his move was motivated by a desire to contest from the Mohol seat in Solapur, currently held by Yashwant Mane, who is aligned with Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, Dhoble denied it. He claimed that he would work for Sharad Pawar’s NCP (SP) regardless of being nominated as a candidate.

This political realignment adds another twist to the already complex dynamics within Maharashtra’s political landscape.
