In yet another incident of attack on policemen in the state, four youths of Ganesh Utsav mandal were arrested for allegedly trying to drown an on duty sub-inspector at pond in Kalyan. This opened up an open and shut case of security to police officials in the state. The life of the policemen is at great risk as the public is turning violent even against women police officials and that rake up a controversy and a concern for the security of the city. Four youths trying to drown SI had gone viral and there is no escape route for the culprits, who were caught red handed for attempting to commit an offence. The day light murder attempt is one more case of danger to policemen in the State of Maharashtra. It is a clear cut case of murder attempt. It is high time the government must beef up the security of policemen without wasting time.
