Kudos to PV Sindhu

It was fuse off for Sun Yu at Fuzhou as Olympic medalist PV Sindhu edged out the local girl in the summit clash to win the China Open which was her maiden Super Series title. PV Sindhu has come of age and her power packed shuttling is difficult to handle for even the Chinese players who have been dominating world women’s badminton over the years. This is the second major achievement for Sindhu in the last few months after her Olympic medal and she deserves all applause for this incredible achievement.

Great players thrive in pairs and Saina Nehwal another brilliant talent from our country but sadly going through injury problems of late has inspired PV Sindhu to give off her best and India today have two players in the top ten in the world and this is great going for badminton as a sport in India. Young players in India should take a leaf out of Saina and Sindhu to try to emulate their success and play alongside them even in practice should be a great inspiration and learning process to make a mark for themselves at the international levels!
