Lions at home but paper tigers while playing on foreign soil!

Men in blue massacred yet again down under as Mahendra Singh Dhoni and his men concede the 4th ODI from a winning position to the shock of cricket fans back home. At one stage Team India were 277 for the loss of one wicket and folding up for 323 was ultimate surrender by our boys as they clearly lack the winning punch as Aussies fought for their lives even though they had won the series to turn the tables upside down when they were starring defeat. Our cricketers play like Lions on home conditions but are paper tigers on foreign soil as they keep losing one match after another without a fight which doesn’t augur well for Indian cricket.

M S Dhoni is a great cricketer but time is ripe for him to hand over the baton of captaincy to a young cricketer who could be groomed under his leadership. IPL too is responsible for the slide in our teams performance as players give off their best while playing for their IPL franchise XI as they are paid in crores by team owners but are jaded and show less interest while playing for the country as fame and pride in national colours no longer induce them to give off their best. Our country needs players like Yuvraj Singh in the team and the match winner should be inducted in the ODI team though he has been selected in the T-20 side. Our bowling is the weak link and we need to train bowlers under the likes of Kapil Dev and spin greats like Anil Kumble to bolster our attack. Captain Dhoni is past his prime and time for him to hang his boots before he is shown the door by the selectors which would be unfortunate!
