Mobile operators reducing validity period

I am a senior citizen. On February 27 a mobile operator automatically renewed my account for Rs 37 by offering 370 local and national SMS’s. I received a message from them stating that plan is valid only up to March 18, i.e. only for 21 days. Why such a gigantic company loots the Indians? It can easily offer 30 days’ validity to all its customers without losing any annual profit. This should be done at once. Otherwise people may take the advantage of mobile number portability, which will reduce their customers to a very huge extent.
