Pooja has sought financial compensation from Timmy Narang and his brother Rahul for molesting her.
Pooja Mishra, actress and Bigg Boss 5 fame contestant had earlier accused businessman and actress IshaKoppikar’s husband Rohit (aka Timmy) Narang and brother-in-law Rahul (aka Jimmy) Narang of molesting her in their car at an isolated place in Pune after offering her a lead role in a film. Pooja is upset with the media for remaining insensitive towards her and giving inadequate coverage to her case.
Poojaalleges thatshe has been suffering for the past nine years in her personal and professional life besides being molested.Pooja has sought financial compensation for the trauma undergone by her since last nine years.She said thatmedia need to take her case seriously and publish this news so that heinous act can be highlighted, which will also create awareness amongst women.
Mishra informed that she had filed a complaint with Mumbai police in the past but they turned a blind eye towards this case. She said, “I am not happy with the Mumbai police because in past, I had lodged innumerable complaints with them but they failed to take any action. Therefore, I filed a FIR in Pune. The Pune police accompanied me to Mumbai and they went to the Narang House at Pali Hill for arresting them but they were absconding! Pune Police have assured me that the case is still under investigation and strict action will be taken against the culprits.”
Pooja had filed an FIR with the Mundwa police, Pune alleging that duo brothers have been threatening her from several years and had molested her two times on different occasions on June 19. Mishra also alleged that they had hypnotized her in the past and hired people to keep watch on her
When asked how the said accused had humiliated her for the past nine years, she said, “I have undergone too much trauma right from my college days due to them. They have spoiled my career. Whenever, I used to get plum assignment offers they used to intervene and make sure that I was denied the opportunity. When I had participated in Big Boss theyproved me that I am psychic person with the assistance of their friends.They had hacked my social networking account and posted obscene comment against the Bollywood stalwarts which maligned my image.There are several incidents where they have tortured me mentally and spoiled my career.”
Talking to AV, Poojaspoke about her next step, “ I am planning to file a suitagainst Timmy and Rahul forthe damages caused to me during the last nine years including ruining my life and other hardships which I had to bear.”
Pooja Mishra shot to fame by participating in Big Boss and always grabbed attention of her co-participants with her ‘Spare me’ act. She worked as Video Jockey in the reality show Big Switch.
