Rohit shines

Rohit Sharma has the knack of scoring runs in T-20 matches in style. He is a force to reckon with and he made a match of it at Mirpur. Team India launched their Asia Cup campaign in style with a facile win as they outwitted babes Bangladesh. After winning the toss, Bangladesh invited Indian Team to bat first and gave the match on a platter to their neighbours. But Dhoni’s side lost early wickets and reduced to 42 for 3 at one stage. Rohit Sharma steadies the sinking ship. Sri Lanka made short work of Team India with a score of 101 recently and such a situation was avoided by the strength in our batting line up. Pandya did make a respectable score. But the other opposition including UAE are tough nut to crack and may upset our weakness against pace and reduce them to a score below 120. Having invited India to bat Bangladesh lacked the fire power to get the required runs at a brisk pace and lagged behind from the word go and lost early wickets also. Indeed a pathetic show by the Bangladesh side.
