Karan Johar’s ambitious project- ‘Shhuddhi’- has been in news ever since its inception.
However, the producer-director wasn’t finding his male lead. After Hrithik Roshan chose to de-board the project, KJo was left to wonder as to whom to approach for the same. Names such as Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff had cropped up.
But now, ‘Dabangg’ superstar Salman Khan has decided to do the film. The hunk of an actor has been signed by Karan for the project which was in trouble over the absence of an anchor.
Karan took to Twittter to confirm the news.
Salman is currently preparing to release his much awaited film ‘Kick’, post which he will be busy with Sooraj Barjatya for ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo’.
‘Shhuddhi’ is expected to go on floors, once Salman is done with Barjatya’s project.
The industry heavyweight has a number of films lined up which includes ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ director Kabir Khan’s venture, Mahesh Manjrekar’s film and an Aditya Chopra production. He is also scheduled to do Boney Kapoor’s ‘No Entry Mein Entry’.
