‘Singham Returns’ first film to be shot at Gateway of India post 26/11

If reports are to be believed, Rohit Shetty has filmed some scenes of the movie at the historical Gateway of India, and with this he becomes the first filmmaker to have shot at the site post 26/11 attacks.

Bollywood filmmaker Rohit Shetty`s upcoming flick `Singham Returns` is making headlines much before its release. If reports are to be believed, Rohit Shetty has filmed some scenes of the movie at the historical Gateway of India, and with this he becomes the first filmmaker to have shot at the site post 26/11 attacks.

The director reportedly took special permission from the authorities to shoot at the monument for the Ajay Devgn-starrer flick.

Shetty, who is known for using picturesque locations in his films has also shot at several other exotic places of the city. Not only, historic and inconic locations, the movie has also been filmed at a few unexplored places in Mumbai, to give the real flavour of the city. He has included several interesting places like Reay Road, Cotton Green, Worli Fort and JJ Flyover in the movie.

`Singham Returns` is the sequel of 2011 film `Singham`. It is slated to hit the silver screen on August 15.
