Stuart Binny’s 32 run over cost India the game!

M S Dhoni’s blunder cost India the game and K L Rahul’s brilliant ton went in vain as India lose to the West Indies by a solitary run in the first T-20 at Florida from a position of victory. But cricket is a game of uncertainty and let us not point fingers at the Indian captain who has won games in the past from situations of defeat, even scoring a six when required in the last ball of the game. Dhoni did play a casual stroke of the last ball when a single would have tied the game but this is part and parcel of the cricket and captain cool would have even been blamed if he would have tried his signature ‘helicopter shot’ and got out in the bargain. It was a brilliant game of cricket though in which almost 500 runs were scored in 40 overs with some brilliant batting from both teams and viewers enjoyed every bit which is what it all matters in the end and it is just unfortunate that India lost as only one team can win. India’s bowling one thought was pretty ordinary and Stuart Binny’s single over where he conceded 32 runs cost our team the game. West Indians kept their nerves and deserved to win to prove that their T-20 world cup win was no flash in the pain and congratulations to the winners!
