Trans-Harbour project is a dream come true project. There is no doubt about it. The centre has given green signal to this project. It is highly appreciable that the Maharashtra Government is on the road map for growth and it is financially growing state. With centre clearance in place it is time to start the work in good earnest and make sure that there are no hiccups on the way. The deadline for completing the project by the 2019 is quite challenging and concerted efforts are to be taken up and ensure that the work is completed well before the deadline. It is a welcome news as the much delayed Mumbai Trans Harbour Link is expected to start at the earliest. Bidding for the 22 Kilo meter freeway-grade road bridge to start soon and it is a welcome news. It is reliably learnt that the officials from the City’s Development Authority will step in to make the dream project come true. It is time to fulfill the two main conditions laid down by the Ministry and speed up the process of construction. The project will get Coastal Regulatory Zone clearance and forest clearance, but with certain riders. Let us hope that the project will go through without much hurdles.
