In a male dominated arena, girls outnumber the boys in Maharashtra State’s Urdu school as per a study conducted by TISS. It is indeed a good news and the taste for learning yet another Indian language. Old thinking of not sending girls to schools should not continue in a world where Women’s liberation is assuming greater importance. Whether it is the Hindu or the Muslim such a silly attitude of not sending the girl children to school is outdated and outmodelled. It is time we realise our old customs and try to become modern. The trend should not continue and the tendency of parents of keeping their girls within the four walls of the house is outdated rule and we should think about their future for the prosperity of the womenkind in this universe. When the entire world is changing, why not we follow suit.
