Vice President Hamid Ansari met Thai Princess Maha Chikri Sirindhorn here on Friday, the third and final day of his visit to Thailand.
“Taking forward #IndiaThailand friendship. On the final day of his visit, VP meets Princess Maha Chikri Sirindhorn,” external affairs ministry spokesman Vikas Swarup tweeted along with pictures of the two leaders.
Ansari arrived here on Wednesday on the second and last leg of his visit to southeast Asia, the first leg of which took him to Brunei.
On Thursday, Ansari held bilateral talks with Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha.
He also delivered a speech on “India, Thailand and Asean: Contours of a Rejuvenated Relationship” at the prestigious Chulalongkorn University here.
On Thursday evening, the vice president addressed members of the Indian community in Thailand.
