People asked for a noise free Diwali and Arnab Goswami’s resignation is the newest joke trending on social media these days. Jokes apart, Arnab was all noise with little substance and viewers as well as participants who came on his show are actually relieved that the big mouthed television anchor who never gave an opportunity to guests on his news hour show has called it quits on primetime television.
A TV anchor should follow certain ethics and principles apart from being fair and balanced to air facts to the viewers. While Arnab was intelligent and patriotic, his drawback was that he considered himself supreme and even above experts who came as guests on his programme. Vikram Chandra of NDTV is the best anchor on television today as he can conduct debate on any subject from astronomy to sports with grace and dignity with supreme knowledge on any subject. Wishing Arnab the very best in whatever he does in future.
