At least 16 persons were injured, when a luxury bus which was on its way to Nepal from Borivali, turned turtle on the Ghodbunder Road, civic officials said.
Seven of the injured are admitted to Vedant Hospital while the rest are being treated at the Citizen Hospital, Chief of Regional Disaster Management Cell (RDMC) of Thane Municipal Corporation Santosh Kadam said.
He said upon getting the message of the mishap, firemen and personnel from the RDMC rushed to the spot where rescue operations are underway.
