Anurag Thakur takes over the saddle of the BCCI president in the wake of resignation of Shashank Manohar, who took the reins of ICC as the working president. Thakur is keen on implementing reforms and wants to maintain clean image of BCCI. As the Lodha committee recommendations are in the minds of the new president, he is willing to follow them and not run away from the responsibilities as the Chief. We all know that how effectively our board is running. It is time to mend our ways to have more meaningful way of keeping a watch on the gentleman’s game and uplift the standard of the game to world standards. Kudos to Thakur.
