Can Team India avoid a whitewash Down Under?

Team India’s overseas record is getting worse day by day and the show down under proved that beyond doubt. As in the past the batsmen scored runs but not in a winning cause.  The rag, tag, bobtail outfit is repeatedly defeated on overseas matches and the selectors are showing a blind eye to the pathetic display. Providing best batting conditions could help bowlers to learn the art of swing and spin to a better extent rather than what they learn in tailor made wickets in India. There is no need of blaming bowlers. There is no cogenial atmosphere of developing fast bowling in India as the wickets are rather slow and pace bowling is simply a formality. Spinners like Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja account for bag full of wickets at home but manage to get couple of wickets giving away sufficient runs for the opposition to accomplish the target.  Instead of playing the hit and run game in style we adopt wait and watch attitude and that put paid our hopes. Now we face ignominy of facing a white wash and we hope the short sighted selectors will learn some lessons after the coup down under.
