Chances of Indian Hockey team hanging in balance

It is a do or die game for Team India in the 36th Hero Champions Trophy now underway in London.  By losing to Australia 2-4 the fate is hanging in balance once again.  India needed a victory to secure a place in the final against Australia, who were already assured of the top spot in the standings ahead of this crucial fixture for India and we expected that the team from down under will give way for the Asian Champion to go to the knock out stage. But Australia made a match of it and did one better to have a firm footing.  India’s chances of making their first entry into the Champions Trophy final depend of the result of the Great Britain match agains Belgium, both of whom can overtake India in the final standings and go ahead.  Why we always go in for the do or die situation when we are the Champions in our own right.  Now we need to see A or B finishing below the Indian Team only to make Indian Team going to the finals.
