Congress party is in ICU

Former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and the Congress President K. Kamaraj grabbed headlines by taking up a leap by resigning his post and for building up of Congress party under Indira Gandhi. Kamaraj set the ball rolling and it was liked by all the senior leaders in Congress. Signalling such a big move is the need of the hour to change the party structure and see the fortune favour the outfit in the near future.  The Congress is surely at crossroads after the disastrous performance in the recently concluded Assembly elections in the states. Party leaders have been talking about the need for a complete overhaul of the party structure to make it fighting fit for UP elections scheduled to be held in early 2017 and in other states. The plan to revive the Congress party has to be taken on a war footing basis after the drubbing in the recently concluded Assembly elections. Now this is the time to revamp the team and sincere and dedicated workers should be given a pride of place rather than the kith and kin of the party president. But what Kamaraj did was history and people should follow him and that is the need of the hour to take the party out of the precarious position.
