Degrading the degree

As AAP is behind the Delhi degree of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the tug of supremacy in the Capital and the war of words continue to haunt both the parties. It is now tripartite war over Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s educational qualifications. After contemptuously ignoring Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s accusations about the PM’s degrees being fake, the BJP joined the fray with its big guns joining the force and demanding that the Delhi CM should seek an apology to the nation for trying to defame the PM of India. Now it appears that the Delhi CM is spreading lies about the Prime Minister to come out popular and settle the scores with BJP for having sealed his office in the name of an Income Tax raid. It is public discourse at its lowest level at a time when its leaders are being prosecuted and investigated for fake degrees. The political set up in India is reaching roads to make our aim of democracy a mockery. By its attack and counter attacks the degrading of degree make a party politics assume greater importance rather than addressing public grievances.
