Every human being on earth owes his origin to the sacrifice of a woman who takes extreme pain to give birth which is the reason why the human race is in existence. Banning the fair sex from visiting any place of worship was ungodly and an crime in itself apart from being an act of insanity and madness. The Bombay High Court deserve all accolades for passing an judgment that henceforth would punish offenders with a 6-month jail term if women are denied entry to temples or discriminated during worship.
Worshipping is the birthright of all irrespective of gender and men alone can’t have patent to some temples who were discriminating women to enter their premises. The landmark High Court judgment too should be respected and applauded by all and the law enforcement agencies should see to it that there is no discrimination on the basis of gender and enough security for the fair sex at temples and other places of worship. Devotion and worship has no meaning if the fair sex are treated in an inequitable manner and let us hope the High court decision ends this long feud of sexual discrimination!
