Futile exercise

It appears to be a futile exercise in bringing peace in Jammu and Kashmir and the talks failed to infuse any hope of bringing peace in the valley. Having scene 52 days of curfew and talks at various levels did not help out the cause very much. Putting separatists in jail the all-party talk is one more wasted attempted to bring normalcy in the state. The State Government clearly drawn line and the officials hope opposition MPs will show empathy and keep calm tempers to make a fruitful attempt to bring an end to this long battle with the separatists. Mehooba is a just a puppet between the separatists and the union government and she did not appear to have a whip hand to solve this ethnic issue. It is expected that the State Government will start a credible and meaningful political dialogue and resolution process for some more time to break the stalemate. In the face of it, it appears a futile exercise.
