Incredible win for Team India

Darren Sammy National Cricket Stadium, Gros Islet, St Lucia showed a deserted look on the first day as Sammy was kicked out from all the formats of the game by the West Indies board despite winning two T-20 tournaments for the team. The match ended on a sad note with West Indies team folding up for 108 without much of a fight. Team India declared its second innings in time and the Indian bowlers bowled well-disciplined line to make a match of it in the end. Ravichandran Ashwin was adjudged man of the match for the sixth time, the most by any India player since his debut in November 2011. During that stretch, only Rangana Herath has won more Man of the Match awards than Ashwin, with seven. Stuart Broad, Joe Root, Steven Smith and Ross Taylor are all level with Ashwin on six awards since November 2011, though Ashwin has done it in the fewest Tests, 35. West Indies side caved in after showing early promise in both innings but that was only a minor contribution. One would have expected a better fightback from the team which pulled off a stunning draw in Jamaica. Virat Kohli becomes first Indian captain to win two Test matches in West Indies. We have chosen the winning ways in West Indies. Kudos to Team India for the incredible win and that helped the side to seal the series for all practical purposes with 2-0 unassailable lead with one test to follow.
