Pramod Muthalik launches the website indiaagainstislamicstate.com and said that radicalisation of youth towards ISIS should be checked.

PramodSri Ram Sene Chief Pramod Muthalik expressed his concern about the rising influence of Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) across the world and its impact in India. The Jihadi terrorist group is involved in heinous terrorist activities in Iraq and Syria. Now they want to expand their field of activities than to limit themselves to Iraq and Syria. According to Muthalik, the radicalisation of youth towards ISIS needs to be checked. The ultra-conservative Islamic State ideology is gaining root among a section of Muslim youth in India, particularly in Jammu and Kashmir.

The IS group is known to operate 96,000 Twitter handles, each spewing out 2,000 venomous tweets daily. Each minute 300 hours of content is added on to YouTube, which includes terror propaganda and radical Islam with an aim to recruit global Muslim youth. The government lacks technical competency to monitor the social media. Counter-terror experts say that the Internet in comparison to physical contact and training drastically reduces the time to radicalise any individual.

ISIS is trying to reimplement the rule of ‘Islamic Khalifa’ throughout the world which was destroyed once upon a time by Kemal Pasha in Turkey. After establishing strong control over Iraq and Syria these terrorists are now turning their attention towards Turkey. ISIS has already declared India as its next target.

“Today India has to face several challenges arising due to Pakistan sponsored terrorism, Bangladeshi infiltration and insurgency in Jammu & Kashmir. The ISIS is trying to expand its foothold across the world. They are known for committing rapes, murder and spreading terrorism” said Pramod Muthalik

“The patriotic organizations from different parts of India have come together and have launched the website indiaagainstislamicstate.com a mass movement to combat terrorism. The main aim of this movement is to bring awareness among the common masses of the danger of Jihadi terrorism and to form a close line of patriots to help the government at different levels” he added.

Jihadi forces are becoming very strong in the entire world at present. Jihadi terrorism of ‘Al Queda’ is well known. There is competition between ‘Al Queda’ and ISIS to take the credit of the Jihadi attack on the newspaper which published a cartoon in France. There is reign of terror of Taliban in Afghanistan and the reign of terror ‘Boca Haram’ in Nigeria. Pakistan has become a birthplace of terrorist activities. There are Jihadi attacks in Australia.

Muthalik claimed that “bigger Hindutva organisations” have become “inactive” leaving the smaller groups to unite for the cause. He has been banned from entering Goa by the state government fearing law and order situation.

“I am confident that this Hindu Parivar will definitely establish Hindu Rashtra with divine power and Hindu unity,” he said.

Muthalik, who was linked to the 2009 Mangalore pub attacks, said BJP government was displaying double standards on the issue of Hindutva. He has had a love-hate relation with BJP, which was evident when the saffron party had accused him of misusing Modi’s name for raising funds. He joined RSS in 1975 and Shiv Sena in 2005, but left the latter in 2006.
