Time and again the quota struggle is becoming a high volt issue and it spreads like wild fire all the time. It happened in Haryana few months back and the Jat community got what they wanted and now they are raising their voice once again. Such movements turn violent with the spur of the moment and the State Government succumb to pressure with stiff resistance from such leaders. The Mathura (UP) incident is fresh in our minds and once again the Jat protest is taking shape, but of course with lukewarm response. It is better to nip the agitation in the bud instead of allowing it to reach an enormous proportion.
