BCCI has taken a bold and purposeful decision in appointing most experienced cricketer as Coach of India. All these days, we were depended on foreign coaches and in recent times Lalchand Rajput and Ravi Shastri accomplished as Team’s coach with significant success. Anil Kumble, as an astute judge of the game can do a world of good to change the fortunes of Indian cricket both at home and abroad, as he has all the credentials to become top man in Indian Cricket team. Even though, Mumbai lobby was too strong to outwit the Karnataka’s challenge, Kumble has the most number of wickets in test cricket for India and a fighter to the core. With elimination of foreign coach taking up the lead role is ruled out, Kumble joining the select band of Indian cricketers Rahul Dravid, Sachin Tendulkar, VVS Laxman and Sourav Ganguly as the fab five of Indian think tank for the future. It is indeed a right step in the right direction.
