Kashmir sizzles: Jaitley struggles

Kashmir continued to be on the boil and it is a bad news for Home Ministry. Finance Minister do not want to mince words and very critical about stone pelters in the State of Jammu and Kashmir. Despite curfew restrictions several police stations have also been set on fire and their weapons looted in Anantnag and other places within Kashmir. The violence has damaged more than 40 government offices and breakdown of communication services. The curfew has crossed 40 days and the Centre is trying its best to bring normalcy in the State. But the protestors throw stones and causing extensive damage to police force.   Policemen appeared to be facing the brunt of the attack and it is in a precarious position. Complete shutdown is observed and normal life came to a standstill.  The entire valley remained shut with a string of police pickets and partol trying to prevent stone pelting protesters and to prevent from marching on the streets.  Kashmir sizzles and the police force struggle to bring peace and normalcy. Arun Jaitley interference may change the situation and he can play a peace maker’s role in the present context. Let us hope that better council prevails in the days to come and bring peace and normalcy in the state.
