Kudos to AV

Congratulations to Afternoon Voice on its 7th Anniversary which has been an journey that has not only created an impact on the lives of Munbaikars but the authorities which had been kept on their toes by honest and fearless reporting. AV is the voice of the people and the watchdog of the society covered by young journalists working against all odds under the able leadership of Vaidehi Taman who herself is a respectful name in print journalism.
I have been fortunate to be associated with AV from the day it launched its publication and must say that it is one newspaper that gives ‘Letter writers’ like me and others to express their views fearlessly when others use the same space for advertisements which generates revenues. Perhaps the best publication when it comes to content and value, Afternoon Voice is here to stay and compete in a world where it may be a baby when compared to others. However, this ‘toddler’ can make others cry by views and news that is genuine in an era where competitors accept money in today’s world of ‘paid or yellow’ journalism.

Wishing Afternoon Voice many more successful decades of publication and everyone at your publication house deserves accolades in the way the newspaper has shaped over the years when many have folded up due to competition from the electronic media. “When the going gets tough the tough gets going” and this one line describes AV and its team that runs the show!
