Our politicians are just looking for an issue for deriving political mileage. The Maratha protests came handy for both Sharad Pawar and Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to exchange war of words that doesn’t augur well for the state. As per Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision we should look only for development and not waste valuable time in pondering over a point as in the past. If Maratha claims are really genuine it is time to press the safe button rather than indulging in mudslinging and that leads to war of words of the two leaders of the political parties in the state. It is not just the time to go over board on caste and play religion card all the time.
