Might is the right

Bihar MLC’s son broke all the traffic regulations and entered into an argument and gunned down the person who overtook him on the roads of Gaya. VIP domination on the roads was understandable and even kith and kin of Legislative council are also showing tantrums on the street.  Traffic department is the watchdog and the Traffic Police inspectors should keep close vigil on the road users especially VIP category and punish them without fear or favour. The road rage of overtaking in the crowded roads created a stir as the police had patience to pacify local protesting against the killing of a 20 year old after an altercation. At any time of the day or night traffic rules should not be flouted giving scope for serious accidents and the drivers make safe driving as their motto all the time. We expect road users should avoid road rage and the bad temper by the MLC’s son led to a daylight murder. These youngsters go overboard and take the laws in their hands when they drive on the road.  Scuffle in the toll paying area is also a common thing happening as the overtaking taking place skipping the queue and to pass through toll in a record time. Road is common for all and the raging drivers needs to be educated to avoid such fatal attacks on fellow drivers driving alongside them. It is a matter of great shame that the Gaya shocker showed that might is the right.
