Pakistan Government is not ready to accept the terror attacks at Pathankot Air base was with the help of Pakistan Army and now wants proof for the attack to take suitable action. Thus the Pathankot terror attack is headed in the way of 26/11 attack and nothing else. Despite pressure applied and mounting upon them from all angles Pakistan is trying to buy time and delay the inquiry. Even US Secretary of State called Nawaz Sharif to apprise American stand but still the stalemate continues. Though there were peace talks in the air but the audacious attack on the Pathankot air base that has tested India’s response and its relations with Pakistan. Thus the peace talks are in total jeopardy and there is no way to end the dead lock.  The visit of PM Narendra Modi to the area under fire is only to boost the confidence of the Army, who did a marvellous job of killing all the six terrorists in the encounter. So bringing out the truth in the near future suffered a major setback and the matter will be dragged on like the Mumbai attack. The secretary level meeting should clear the doubts and reduce the friction among the two countries.
