It would surely have been a nightmarish experience for Raj Thackeray family after their pet dog attacked the lady of the house Sharmila. The injury was so serious that she had to undergo emergency surgery necessitating 65 stitches on her face.
Sharmila Thackeray later underwent facial plastic surgery to conceal the bite marks. She is recuperating under the care of noted plastic surgeon Anil Tibrewala at the Hindjua Hospital.
The incident occurred on Tuesday when one of their two pet Great Danes, Bond bit Sharmila on the face at their house Krushna Kunj in Dadar.
The bite was so sharp that the dog’s teeth ripped her face and almost touched the facial bones.
